Staffing for Service and Technical Quality Care. Recognizing the importance of adequate staffing to the provision of quality patient care, the Employer agrees that there should be an adequate number of staff in all departments on each shift. Staffing levels shall be determined by management for each department, work area, or unit (to be determined based on the specific title of the area for which staffing is determined; referred to as “Department” or “Area”). Staffing levels shall be based on the workload of the department and/or area and shall be sufficient in number to allow for a high quality of patient care.
