Standard Work Schedules. A. The standard number of working hours during any standard work week will normally be 40 hours without a reduction in the current established bi-weekly wage rate. B. The normal work week shall consist of no more than five consecutive days (Friday - Thursday) at the regular rate of pay. Saturday and Sunday are not considered regular workdays. The normal workday shall be any consecutive eight-hour or 10-hour period between 6:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. The eight-hour workday shall have two 15-minute paid breaks and the 10-hour workday shall have two 20-minute paid breaks. One break shall be taken approximately in the middle of the first half of the workday, and the second in the second half. There will also be an unpaid 30-minute meal break, approximately in the middle of the workday.
