State Auditor. In addition to and without limitation on the other audit provisions of this contract, pursuant to Section 2262.003 of the Texas Government Code, the State Auditor’s Office may conduct an audit or investigation of GRANTEE or any other entity or person receiving funds from the State directly under this contract or indirectly through a subcontract under this contract. The acceptance of funds by GRANTEE or any other entity or person directly under this contract or indirectly through a subcontract under this contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the State Auditor’s Office, under the direction of the Legislative Audit Committee, to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds.
