State Disability Insurance Coverage and Paid Leaves for Permanent Members. (Applies to SB1, SC1, SD1 only) A unit member may supplement any disability insurance benefits paid under a State Disability Insurance program with accumulated sick leave and vacation to the extent necessary to make up the difference between the amount of insurance benefits paid and the normal weekly base pay for each week of disability.
