Common use of Statement of Reasons Clause in Contracts

Statement of Reasons. Any non-tenured teacher who receives a notice of non- employment may within 15 calendar days thereafter, in writing, request a statement of reasons for such non-employment from the Superintendent, or his designee, which statement shall be given to the teacher in writing within 30 calendar days after receipt of such request.

Statement of Reasons. a. Any non-tenured teacher who receives a notice of non- non-renewal of employment may within 15 calendar days thereafter, request in writing, request within thirty (30) days after receipt of notice, a statement of reasons for such non-employment from the Superintendent, or his designee, which statement employment. The request shall be given addressed to the teacher Board in writing within 30 calendar care of the Secretary to the Board. b. Within fifteen (15) days after receipt of such a request, the Board shall furnish a written statement setting forth the reason or reasons for the Board’s determination.
