Common use of Station Closing Clause in Contracts

Station Closing. A station shall be considered closed when it is taken out of service, even if it is re-opened in a new Battalion. In such a case, the personnel at the closed station shall have “bumping” rights in accordance with the Station Bid policy, which may be amended by negotiation or agreement between the Fire Rescue Administrator and the Union President, and the new station shall be bid.
