Common use of Statistical Usage Data Clause in Contracts

Statistical Usage Data. Okta owns the statistical usage data derived from the operation of the Service, including data regarding web applications utilized in connection with the Service, configurations, log data, and the performance results for the Service (“Usage Data”). Nothing herein shall be construed as prohibiting Okta from utilizing the Usage Data to optimize and improve the Service or otherwise operate Okta’s business; provided that if Okta provides Usage Data to third parties, such Usage Data shall be de-identified and presented in the aggregate so that it will not disclose the identity of Customer or any User(s) to any third party.
