Status of Contract. 28.1. Nothing in this Contract shall have the effect of making the Contractor, the servant or agent of the ESFA, the Contractor (if an individual) represents that he is regarded by both the Inland Revenue and the Department for Work and Pensions as self-employed and accordingly shall indemnify the ESFA against tax, national insurance contributions or similar imposed for which the ESFA may be liable in respect of the Contractor by reason of this Contract.
Status of Contract. A4.1 Nothing in the Contract shall be construed as or have the effect of creating a partnership, a contract of employment or a relationship of principal and agent between the Contractor or the Contractor’s Personnel and DCLG.

Status of Contract. 19.1. Nothing in the Contract shall have the affect of making any employee of the Supplier the employee of the Authority.

THE CONTRACTOR (if an individual) represents that he is regarded by both the Inland Revenue and THE Department for Work and Pensions as self-employed and accordingly shall indemnify THE EFA against tax, national insurance contributions or similar imposed for which THE EFA may be liable in respect of THE CONTRACTOR by reason of this Contract.

Status of Contract. Except as set forth above, the Contract remains unaltered and in full force and effect, and Seller and Purchaser do hereby ratify and confirm the Contract, as modified and amended herein.

Nothing in the Contract shall have the effect of making the Consultant an agent of the Client and the Consultant shall not (and shall procure that the Consultant's personnel and representatives do not) say or do anything which might lead any other person to believe that the Consultant is so acting.

4.3 The Contractor shall not (and shall procure that the Contractor’s Personnel do not) hold themselves out as having authority to bind DCLG unless specifically permitted in writing by DCLG’s Commercial Representative.
