Steel Structures. The Xxxxxxx Substation shall consist of low profile (non-lattice) steel structures. The air-insulated substation shall be rigid bus construction with flexible connections to all equipment. Equipment support structures shall be designed by the working stress method in accordance with American Institute of Steel Construction guidelines for specification, engineering, design and construction.
