Xxxxxxx Substation. The Transmission Interconnection Studies for the Transmission Project identified that certain Network Upgrade Facilities at the LaFarge Substation are required in connection with the Transmission Project. This work including, but not limited to, relay resetting, and drawing updates will be performed for the LaFarge Substation to reflect the new Line 8 Tap location in accordance with the terms of an engineering, procurement, and construction agreement by and among the Transmission Developer, LaFarge, and the NYISO.

Xxxxxxx Substation. The following describes the design, construction and commissioning requirements for the Xxxxxxx Substation. All work by Developer shall meet the NYPA Design Criteria for Developer Connection to the New York Power Authority Transmission System and NYPA’s Project Management Criteria for Developer Connection to the New York Power Authority Transmission System, subject to the Exceptions and Clarifications to each such document agreed to by Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner.
Xxxxxxx Substation. Plans, supervises, directs and coordinates the construction, installation, maintenance and testing of substations and substation apparatus.
Xxxxxxx Substation. The estimated cost for engineering, procuring and constructing the Xxxxxxx Substation is $5,458,308.
Xxxxxxx Substation. (a) The City will design, construct, operate and maintain a new Boulder Xxxxxxx Substation adjacent to the existing PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation. PSCo will design, construct, operate and maintain an expansion of the existing PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation on land owned by PSCo in order to interconnect the new Boulder Xxxxxxx Substation to PSCo’s electric system as shown in the Xxxxxxx General Arrangement and One-line Diagram attached to this Agreement as Attachments C-1 and C-2. (b) For both the Boulder Xxxxxxx Substation (including the City’s 13 kV distribution feeders exiting the substation) and the expanded PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation, Boulder shall be responsible for all permitting in compliance with all state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Responsibilities for geotech, grading, drainage and constructing of common facilities shall be as provided in Attachment C-3. Each Party will be responsible for the siting of facilities at their respective substation sites. (c) The new Boulder Xxxxxxx Substation will be constructed by the City on real property to be acquired by the City from PSCo adjacent to PSCo’s expansion of the existing PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation. A common fence will be constructed inside or on the property line of the PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation to separate the Boulder Xxxxxxx Substation from the PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation. There will be a single ground grid for both the existing and new equipment in the PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation and the Boulder Xxxxxxx Substation. The Point of Change of Ownership will be as shown in Attachment C-1. (d) The responsibilities for construction, ownership, operations, maintenance, and replacement of the expansion of the PSCo Xxxxxxx Substation and the Boulder Xxxxxxx Substation will be as described in the Ownership, Construction, Operating and Cost Responsibility Table attached to this Agreement as Attachment C-3. (e) The property interests shall be as shown in Attachment C-4.

Xxxxxxx Substation. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s existing 115kV Xxxxxxx Substation requires upgrades to accommodate the new Bluestone Substation. The Connecting Transmission Owner’s existing 115 kV 954 Line from the Xxxxxxx to Xxxxxxxx Substations will need to be rerouted to the new Bluestone Substation via the existing 115kV tapped Stilesville Substation. New 954 Line CCVTs, a new wave trap and a line tuning unit will be installed to accommodate the new pilot scheme. The Xxxxxxx Substation’s electro-mechanical line relaying will be removed and replaced. The existing electro-mechanical line relaying will be removed and two new relay panels with will be installed to accommodate the new line relaying. The existing 115kV oil circuit breaker (“OCB”) 95432 has just one trip coil and one set of bushing current transformers (“BCT”). This will be replaced to meet the Connecting Transmission Owner’s 115kV standard for dual protection scheme. (Note: this assumes that the existing control house has enough space to accommodate the two (2) new relay panels or the new relays can be installed on the space available on the existing panels. The work at the Xxxxxxx Substation includes the following major electrical and physical equipment: • One (1) - SF6, circuit breaker 145 kV nominal system voltage, 650 kV BIL, 3000 continuous, 40 kA interrupting, with six (6) sets of bushing current transformers, 3000/5A MR relay accuracy C800; • Three (3) CCVTs 115 kV nominal voltage, 550 kV BIL, 1000 VA continuous, 577/1000:1; (1) wave trap 3000A, 550kV BIL; (1) line tuning unit (to be determined by Connecting Transmission Owner); • Redundant A & B relay systems; • One pilot scheme; • 115 kV structures; • Foundations; • 115 kV bus work, cables, fittings; • Conduits; • Control cabling; • Grounding materials; • By pass switch (to support outages); and • RTU replacement upgrade.
