Step 4 – Investigator. 10.5.1 If the grievance is not settled at Step 3, it may be referred to Step 4 within 10 working days of the Step 3 response. 10.5.2 Xxxxx XxXxxxxxxx or a substitute agreed to by the Parties will: a) investigate the difference; b) define the issue in the difference; and c) make written recommendations to resolve the difference within 20 working days of the receipt of the request; and, for those 20 working days time does not run in the Grievance Procedure. 10.5.3 The Investigator's remuneration and expenses will be borne equally by the College and the Union.
