Step One - Immediate Supervisor. a. The employee will arrange to meet with their immediate supervisor and have a discussion meeting on the grievance and attempt to reach a resolution. The employee may request that an Association Representative be present at this meeting. b. The Association, if they are considering filing a grievance on behalf of an employee, employees or the Association, will make an effort to meet with the immediate supervisor and have a discussion meeting on the grievance and attempt to reach a resolution.
