You may stop payment on a check by providing us with timely, complete and accurate information on: the number of the account in question; the date of the item; the item number; the payee information; and the EXACT amount of the item (dollars and cents). If any information is incomplete or incorrect, we will not be responsible for failing to stop payment on the item.
