Strategy 1: Overdose Prevention Education and Naloxone. This strategy provides education to patients, family, friends and supportive allies on how to recognize and respond to an overdose event and provides access to opioid overdose reversal medications. Performing Agency will: 1. Coordinate Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC)-approved overdose prevention education trainings for the participating Family Planning clinic site. Require a minimum of 25% of clinic staff attend this training within three months of project start date and 75% of staff receive training within six months of project start date.
