Common use of STRIKES AND SANCTIONS Clause in Contracts

STRIKES AND SANCTIONS. A. During the term of this Agreement neither the Association nor any persons acting in its behalf will cause, authorize or support, nor will any members take part in any strike (i.e., the concerted failure to report for duty, or willful absence of a teacher from his/her position or stoppage of work or abstinence, in whole or in part, from the full, faithful and proper performance of the teacher's duties of employment) for any purpose whatsoever.

During the term of this Agreement neither the Association nor or any persons acting in its behalf behalf, nor any individual employee will cause, authorize authorize, or support, nor will any bargaining unit members take part in any strike (i.e., the concerted failure to report for duty, or willful absence of a teacher an employee from his/her position position, or stoppage of work work, or abstinence, in whole or in part, part from the full, faithful and faithful, proper performance of the teacheremployee's duties of employment) for any purpose whatsoever).
