Student/Faculty Ratio. In recognition of the increased number of students and the increase in class sizes, the Parties agree to the following measures to monitor student/faculty ratios: (a) The University shall maintain or improve upon a student/faculty ratio (FTE students to FTE faculty) of 25:1, as set out under 18.2.3.1(b) of the Collective Agreement, as amended, for full-time faculty and full-time professional librarians; (b) by June 1st each year, the University shall provide to the Association, a report on enrolment in courses taught by CAS Members. This report shall include: (i) a report on intramural courses taught by CAS Members which includes the instructor’s name, the course number, enrolment and course weight, with a summary by term of the number of courses, number of students and average class size; (ii) a report in a similar format for Online Learning courses taught by CAS Members; (iii) a report in a similar format for off-campus courses taught by CAS Members; (iv) a report on directed studies and thesis courses taught by CAS Members including the name of the instructor, the course number and course weight, and the student enrolment with a summary of the number of courses and the number of students; (v) a report for CAS Members who are Music Studio Instructors, Music Therapy Supervisors, and Music Coach-Accompanists, including the name of the instructor, the course number and course weight, and the student enrolment for each CAS Member with a summary by term of the number of courses, number of students and average class size; (vi) a report for CAS Members teaching tutorial or lab sections of courses including the name of the instructor, the course number, the total enrolment in the course, the number of tutorial/lab sections taught by each CAS Member, and an enrolment equivalence based on the total number of students divided by the number of tutorial or lab sections. (vii) a report for CAS Members providing field supervision in the Faculty of Education including the name of the instructor, and a summary of the total number of schools and students each Member was responsible for supervising. This annual report, due June 1, shall include courses taught in the Spring, Fall and Winter terms of the previous fiscal year.

Student/Faculty Ratio. Oakland and the Association agree that the appropriate Senate Committee shall receive periodic reports from the Vice President for Academic Affairs concerning the current status of the student-faculty ratio, that it should inform itself of the process used in allocating faculty positions, and it shall make recommendations to the Vice President concerning ways of avoiding an over- ratio condition and/or overstaffing conditions in individual academic units.
Student/Faculty Ratio. 3.7.1 The parties agree to calculate the Student/Faculty ratio as follows: (a) The Student/Faculty ratio shall be calculated as the full-time equivalent (FTE) students divided by the FTE Faculty.
Student/Faculty Ratio. Oakland agrees to maintain a student-faculty ratio for each fiscal year calculated as follows: Fiscal Year Equated Students (FYES) = 20.7 The FYES figure shall include every hour of credit delivered by Oakland during the fiscal year except hours delivered by applied music instructors and hours earned through the tuition waiver program.   • Federal Medicaid System Security Requirements Compliance Party shall provide a security plan, risk assessment, and security controls review document within three months of the start date of this Agreement (and update it annually thereafter) in order to support audit compliance with 45 CFR 95.621 subpart F, ADP System Security Requirements and Review Process.

  • Student Evaluation a. The President of the College or the President’s designee shall be responsible for administering the student evaluation process. b. Student evaluation packets for each class containing instruments and instructions shall be distributed to each faculty member by the first week of December during the fall semester and by the last week in April during the spring semester. c. It is expressly agreed that the faculty member being evaluated shall not be present in the classroom when the student evaluation is being administered and that all instruction to students with regard to such student evaluation shall be included in writing on the instrument, provided further that the designated unit or non-unit professional shall return the student evaluation directly to the President of the College or the President’s designee. The administering of the student evaluation shall be the responsibility of the President of the College or the President’s designee who shall determine who among unit or non-unit professionals shall administer such student evaluation. Student evaluations shall be valid only if signed by the student; provided, however, that faculty members shall not be entitled to the identity of the student responding unless such student evaluation is used as a basis for dismissal or other disciplinary action and such will be communicated to the students. d. The data from the student evaluation shall be tabulated and copies sent to the President of the College or the President’s designee. The raw data shall be retained by the College for a period of one (1) year during which time the faculty member shall have access thereto upon written request. e. The President of the College or the President’s designee shall review the tabulated data and shall forward a data summary to the faculty member by January 23 for the fall semester and by June 15 for the spring semester. f. The faculty member shall have seven (7) working days in which to respond to such data.
