Student Evaluation a. The President of the College or the President’s designee shall be responsible for administering the student evaluation process. b. Student evaluation packets for each class containing instruments and instructions shall be distributed to each faculty member by the first week of December during the fall semester and by the last week in April during the spring semester. c. It is expressly agreed that the faculty member being evaluated shall not be present in the classroom when the student evaluation is being administered and that all instruction to students with regard to such student evaluation shall be included in writing on the instrument, provided further that the designated unit or non-unit professional shall return the student evaluation directly to the President of the College or the President’s designee. The administering of the student evaluation shall be the responsibility of the President of the College or the President’s designee who shall determine who among unit or non-unit professionals shall administer such student evaluation. Student evaluations shall be valid only if signed by the student; provided, however, that faculty members shall not be entitled to the identity of the student responding unless such student evaluation is used as a basis for dismissal or other disciplinary action and such will be communicated to the students. d. The data from the student evaluation shall be tabulated and copies sent to the President of the College or the President’s designee. The raw data shall be retained by the College for a period of one (1) year during which time the faculty member shall have access thereto upon written request. e. The President of the College or the President’s designee shall review the tabulated data and shall forward a data summary to the faculty member by January 23 for the fall semester and by June 15 for the spring semester. f. The faculty member shall have seven (7) working days in which to respond to such data.

Student Evaluation. A. All unit members shall be subject to student evaluations each semester in each course taught. B. The President of the College, or designee thereof, shall be responsible for determining the administration of the student evaluation process. C. Where feasible in the discretion of the President of the College, the student evaluation process will be conducted electronically via the College’s designated learning management system platform or via a link that the college administration shall distribute to students. Where student evaluation links are utilized by a College, the college administration shall distribute the link to students. D. Where circumstances dictate in the discretion of the College, paper evaluation may be conducted. Should paper evaluations be used for a particular course, student evaluation packets for each class containing instruments and instructions shall be distributed to each unit member during the second or third to the last week of the class. E. It is expressly agreed that the unit member being evaluated shall not be present when the student evaluation is being administered or taken, whether electronically or in paper format, and that all instruction to students with regard to such student evaluation shall be included on the evaluation instrument. The raw data from the student evaluation shall be retained by the College for a minimum of one (1) year during which time the unit member shall have access thereto as practicable under the Colleges’ electronic evaluation tool. G. The President of the College, or designee(s) thereof, shall review the tabulated data and forward an evaluation to the unit member. The current questions 20-22 are not tabulated with current questions 1-19 but are separately tabulated. H. The unit member shall have seven (7) working days in which to respond to the evaluation.

Student Evaluation. Within the systems and standards adopted by the school, the teacher shall have the authority and responsibility to determine the individual grades and other evaluations of students within his/her classes. No grade or evaluations shall be changed without consultation with the teacher except when such consultation is not practicable because of the absence of one (1) or both parties. If a grade is changed and the teacher disagrees with the changed grade, the teacher can attach a written explanation of his/her reason for the grade he/she assigned to the student.

The Faculty Evaluation Committee may designate non-faculty to administer student evaluations. 2) The student evaluation forms shall be relevant to the student learning process or service provided and within the scope of the student's experience. 3) The process and content of the student evaluation shall maintain student confidentiality. 4) As part of the faculty evaluation process, except in cases where the section rosters are identical, a student survey will be distributed to at least two (2) sections for contract faculty during the semester of evaluation. The evaluatee and the Faculty Evaluation Committee will each choose one (1) section. By mutual agreement between the faculty member and the Faculty Evaluation Committee, additional sections may participate in the evaluation. 5) Student evaluation forms for counselors, reference librarians, instructional specialists, and the health service nurses will be distributed by a member or designee of the Faculty Evaluation Committee to a reasonable sample of students counseled or served. Those student evaluations returned will comprise the group sampled. 6) A compilation of the student responses will be prepared by the first-level manager or designee and forwarded to the chair of the Faculty Evaluation Committee.
Student Evaluation. During the first year of the evaluation process, the faculty member will administer at least one student evaluation for each preparation by the end of the 11th week of the semester. The student evaluations, including a tally of the ratings and a file of scanned written comments will be submitted as part of the Self-Evaluation Report to the division xxxx. For short-term classes, student evaluations must be completed after the census date and prior to the completion of 75% of the course. These evaluations will be conducted online unless otherwise requested by the professor.
Student Evaluation. The student evaluation is the fourth (4th) component designed to provide all faculty with feedback to improve instruction or work duties. 19.5.4.1 All faculty will review with the students the purpose of the evaluation form, the questions, and the value of personal written comments. 19.5.4.2 The faculty will stress that their feedback and comments will remain confidential. The faculty will leave the room before the students begin and all evaluations, including written comments, will be prepared in a printed, anonymous format. 19.5.4.3 After inviting questions and answering them, the faculty will assign a student to distribute the forms. The same student will collect all forms and return them in a sealed envelope to the Office of Academic Affairs or the offsite manager. 19.5.4.4 It is recommended that the evaluations be completed during the last part of class and at least 15 minutes should be allowed. 19.5.4.5 To guarantee validity, the faculty must be sure that the students understand the process before leaving the room. Under no circumstances is the faculty to stay in the room or in the immediate area outside the room. The faculty cannot handle or return the completed forms and the student returning the forms will be required to verify the above with a signature when submitting the forms to the respective administrative office.
