Common use of Students' right to publish Clause in Contracts

Students' right to publish. (a) Subject to clause 13(b), the University must ensure that any IPR in the Results created by its Students are assigned to the University, so that those rights can be dealt with in accordance with this Agreement. (b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the parties agree that Students: (i) may include Results in their Student Work, which may be made publicly available in accordance with the University’s policies and procedures and any statutes and regulations, subject to the provisions of clause 12; and (ii) will retain copyright in their Student Work. (c) The University will ensure each person to whom Student Work is presented or submitted for assessment purposes is legally bound by obligations of confidentiality that ensure that the Confidential Information contained in the Student Work is not disclosed to others, or used for purposes other than assessing the Student’s Work (unless it is a use or disclosure permitted under clause 16). (d) At the Collaborator’s request, the University must promptly provide written evidence of its compliance with clause 13(c).

(d) At the Collaborator’s request, the University must promptly provide written evidence of its compliance with clause 13(c8.3(c).

(b) Notwithstanding any other provision of this Agreement, the parties agree that Students: (i) may include Results in their Student Work, which may be made publicly available in accordance with the relevant University’s policies and procedures and any statutes and regulations, subject to the provisions of clause 1211; and (ii) will retain copyright in their Student Work. (c) The Each University will ensure each person to whom Student Work is presented or submitted for assessment purposes is legally bound by obligations of confidentiality that ensure that the Confidential Information contained in the Student Work is not disclosed to others, or used for purposes other than assessing the Student’s Work (unless it is a use or disclosure permitted under clause 1615). (d) At the Collaborator’s a party's request, the a University must promptly provide written evidence of its compliance with clause 13(c12(c).
