Common use of Submarine Cable Systems Clause in Contracts

Submarine Cable Systems. Where a Party authorises a supplier of public telecommunications networks or services to operate a submarine cable system as a public telecommunications service, it shall ensure that such supplier accords the suppliers of public telecommunications networks or services of the other Party reasonable and non- discriminatory treatment with respect to access to submarine cable systems (including landing facilities) in its territory.

Submarine Cable Systems. Where a Party authorises a supplier of telecommunications networks or services operates a submarine cable system to provide public telecommunications networks or services to operate a submarine cable system as a public telecommunications serviceservices, it the Party in whose territory the supplier is located shall ensure that such supplier accords the suppliers of public telecommunications telecommunication networks or services of the other Party reasonable and non- non-discriminatory treatment with respect to access access23 to that submarine cable systems system (including landing facilities) in its territory, in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Party.
