Common use of Subsistence rates Clause in Contracts

Subsistence rates.  Up to £15 per day, per person, to cover Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner within a 24 hour period.  All overnight stays, (if deemed appropriate as part of the Service), must be booked via the Departmental contractor, Expotel. Bookings of this nature must be agreed in advance by the Authority. The client will arrange bookings for you when agreed. This will remove the need for making personal bookings yourself;  In the event that the client is unable to book accommodation and approval is given to the Contractor to book their own overnight stays, the above overnight stay rates are the maximum we will reimburse a supplier.
