Common use of Substituting in Another Class Clause in Contracts

Substituting in Another Class. For those periods in which a bargaining unit member is serving in a substitute capacity in another class in lieu of his/her normal assignment, seniority shall be credited towards his/her normal assignment and shall not be earned in the substitute class.
