Subsurface Borings and Material Testing. If tests in addition to those set forth in Schedule B are required for Project design, the Consulting Engineer shall prepare specifications for the taking of the additional borings. Such Subsurface Borings and Testing, as defined herein, shall be provided by the Consulting Engineer or its subcontractors and compensated as an Additional Service. The City shall be named as an intended third-party beneficiary to the Consulting Engineer's subcontracts with the geotechnical engineer, the land surveyor, and the testing laboratory.
