Common use of Suggestions and Contributions Clause in Contracts

Suggestions and Contributions. It is recognized that the bargaining unit members are members of a profession and have the interest of professionals in their work. It is further recognized that they may make constructive suggestions and contributions toward the administration of the school system. A bargaining unit member who believes he/she has not been treated as a professional, in conducting his/her work, may file a grievance against the involved administrator. Such grievance shall be processed through the Superintendent-level and shall not be subject to arbitration.
