Summary Statement of Provisions. Each new faculty member shall receive a summary statement of the relevant provisions of Article V, Section 10.4 of Article X and Section 21.2 of Article XXI, which pertain to the particular position. At the time of hire, Article VII, Article XVI and Appendix D will be reviewed with the prospective faculty member and thereafter placement on the Salary Schedule and step will be fixed by contract with such faculty member. Such placement shall not be a proper subject for the grievance procedure.
