Common use of Superintend Work Clause in Contracts

Superintend Work. At all times during performance of an issued Job Order and until the Work is completed and accepted by City, JOC directly shall superintend the Work and have a competent superintendent satisfactory to City on site at all times who has authority to act on behalf of JOC. If, in City’s sole opinion and upon request by JOC, an issued Job Order would not require JOC to have a competent superintendent on site at all time, City may waive this requirement and, if so determined, shall do so in writing to JOC.
