He shall coordinate the Work with the activities and responsibilities of the Design Profesional and Design-Builder so as to complete the Project in accordance with the Owner's objectives of quality, cost, and time for completion as set forth in the Construction Documents

Supervision by Design-Builder. Design/Builder shall at all times enforce strict discipline and good order among its Subcontractors and employees performing any portion(s) of the services. At Public Agency’s request, Design/Builder shall remove from the Project and Project Site(s) any person, regardless of whether employed by the Design/Builder or any Subcontractor, who is not performing the services in a competent manner or who is a threat to the safety of persons or the Project, and Design/Builder shall not thereafter permit any such person to perform any of the services or to be present on or at the Project Site(s). In addition, during the course of performing the Construction Work, Design/Builder shall have an experienced and competent superintendent (and any necessary assistants) present on the Project Site(s) to supervise the construction services and Design/Builder’s employees and Subcontractors on the Project.

  • Supervision by Contractor The Contractor shall give efficient supervision to the work, using his best skill and attention. He shall carefully study and compare all drawings, specifications, and instructions and shall at once report to the Design Professional any error, inconsistency, or omission that he may discover, but he shall not be held responsible for their existence or discovery.

  • Supervision of Work The TSP shall provide all necessary superintendence for execution of the Project and its supervisory personnel shall be available to provide full-time superintendence for execution of the Project. The TSP shall provide skilled personnel who are experienced in their respective fields.

  • Design Professional to Design Work The Design Professional Contract requires the Design Professional to design and to prepare the Contract Documents, a copy of which shall be furnished to the Contractor upon request. The Design Professional Contract requires the Design Professional to designate a readily accessible representative (either on Site or by computer, phone or fax or otherwise) who shall have authority promptly to render decisions and to furnish information required of the Design Professional.

  • SCOPE OF ARCHITECT’S BASIC SERVICES 3.1 The Architect’s Basic Services consist of those described in this Article 3 and include usual and customary structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services. Services not set forth in this Article 3 are Supplemental or Additional Services.

  • Level of Supervision Supervision is generally present to establish general objectives relative to a specific project, to outline the desired end product and to identify potential resources for assistance. Some positions will require routine supervision to general direction depending upon experience and the complexity of the tasks. Some positions will require general direction. May supervise or co-ordinate others to achieve objectives, including liaison with employees at higher levels. May undertake stand-alone work.

  • Design-Builder The person or entity responsible for the proper completion of the activities described in the Contract Documents and who executes the Contract.

  • Schematic Design Phase Services § 3.2.1 The Architect shall review the program and other information furnished by the Owner, and shall review laws, codes, and regulations applicable to the Architect’s services.

  • Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance The Contractor is responsible for installation and maintenance of the BMPs as a part of its Bid. The Design Professional shall obtain the services of a qualified testing laboratory to inspect the BMPs in accordance with the permits, the costs of such inspections to be borne by the Owner. In the event of Abnormal Weather Conditions or force majeure, the Contractor shall be compensated for re-installation of BMPs at established Unit Prices.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation. This shall not be applicable to firms and/or individuals providing responses to a publicly posted Request for Information (RFI) associated with a solicitation.
