Supervision by Contractor. The Contractor shall give efficient supervision to the work, using his best skill and attention. He shall carefully study and compare all drawings, specifications, and instructions and shall at once report to the Design Professional any error, inconsistency, or omission that he may discover, but he shall not be held responsible for their existence or discovery.

Supervision by Contractor. The Contractor shall at all times enforce strict discipline and good order among the workers performing under this Contract, and shall not employ on the work any person not reasonably proficient in the work assigned.
Supervision by Contractor. The status of the CONTRACTOR is that of an independent CONTRACTOR under Texas law and the work under this Contract shall be under the direct charge and superintendence of the CONTRACTOR. Except where the CONTRACTOR is an individual and gives his personal superintendence to the work, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a competent superintendent or general xxxxxxx on the work site at all times during progress with full authority to act for the CONTRACTOR. The CONTRACTOR shall also provide an adequate staff for the coordination and expediting of the Work. The superintendent and staff shall be satisfactory to the OWNER. The superintendent or general xxxxxxx shall not be changed during this Contract except with the written consent of the OWNER or unless the superintendent or general xxxxxxx proves unsatisfactory to the CONTRACTOR and ceases to be in his employ. If the superintendent should be or become unsatisfactory to the OWNER, he shall be replaced by the CONTRACTOR upon written direction of the OWNER, and in such event, the CONTRACTOR shall not be entitled to file a claim for any additional working time or money from the OWNER.
Supervision by Contractor. 21.1 The CONTRACTOR will supervise and direct the WORK. He will be solely responsible for the means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures of construction. The CONTRACTOR will employ and maintain on the WORK a qualified supervisor or superintendent who shall have been designated in writing by the CONTRACTOR as the CONTRACTOR'S representative at the site. The supervisor shall have full authority to act on behalf of the CONTRACTOR and all communications given to the supervisor shall be as binding as if given to the CONTRACTOR. The supervisor shall be present on the site at all times as required to perform adequate supervision and coordination of the WORK.
Supervision by Contractor. At all times during performance of a Job Order and until the Work is completed and accepted, the Contractor shall directly supervise the Work of this Contract or assign and have on the Work site, a competent superintendent who is satisfactory to the HISD General Manager and has authority to act for the Contractor. All Projects will have full time contractor supervision by a competent superintendent at all times Work is in progress.
Supervision by Contractor. At all times during the life of the project the Contractor shall provide one permanent employee who shall have the authority and capability for overall responsibility of the project and who shall be personally available at the work site within 24 hours notice. Such employee shall be fully authorized to conduct all business with the subcontractors, to negotiate and execute all supplemental agreements, and to execute the orders or directions of the Engineer. At all times that work is actually being performed, the Contractor shall have present on the project one competent individual who is authorized to act in a supervisory capacity over all work on the project, including work subcontracted. The individual who has been so authorized shall be experienced in the type of work being performed and shall be fully capable of managing, directing, and coordinating the work; of reading and thoroughly understanding the contract; and receiving and carrying out directions from the Engineer or his authorized representatives. He shall be an employee of the Contractor unless otherwise approved by the Engineer. The Contractor may, at his option, designate one employee to meet the requirements of both positions. However, whenever the designated employee is absent from the work site, an authorized individual qualified to act in a supervisory capacity on the project shall be present.
Supervision by Contractor. A. The Contractor shall give its personal supervision to the work or have a competent manager, xxxxxxx or supervisor, satisfactory to the Commissioner, assigned to the work at all times during performance of the Contract, with authority to act for the Contractor. B. In the performance of the Contract, the Contractor shall utilize competent and qualified persons. All such persons are the employees of the Contractor and not of the City and the Contractor shall be responsible for their acts, personal conduct and work. C. All services shall be performed in a skillful and workmanlike manner. The Commissioner may require and the Contractor agrees to the removal from the work of any of the Contractor's personnel or of its subcontractor's personnel deemed incompetent, careless or otherwise objectionable by the Commissioner. D. The Department shall have the right to have representatives of the Department or of the City or the State or Federal government present at the site of the engagement to observe the work being performed.

The Contractor shall also provide adequate staff for the proper coordination and expediting of his work. (b) The Contractor shall be responsible for all work executed under the Contract. Contractor shall verify all figures and elevations before proceeding with the work and will be held responsible for any error resulting from his failure to do so.

Owner and Engineer shall not be responsible for Contractor's failure to perform or furnish the work in accordance with Contract Documents.

Contractor shall maintain good order and discipline among its personnel and the personnel of any subcontractor(s).
