Supervision Time. For the purpose of the supervision provisions of the collective agreement, supervision time shall be defined as the time a teacher is assigned to supervise students outside the Instructional School Day as defined in 15.06. (d) Principals will provide all teaching staff with a supervision schedule on or before the first day of school in each school year. Except in emergency situations, changes will be made to the supervision schedule only after consultation with the affected teachers. The Board new schedule, reflecting the changes, will be shared with all staff within 5 instructional days. L15.14 Staff Meetings
(a) Regular staff meetings shall make every reasonable effort be scheduled by the Principal in consultation with the teaching staff and upon consensus whenever possible. Regularly scheduled staff meetings shall be held no more than once per month on average. Each meeting shall be no more than 75 minutes in length. The dates of the regular staff meetings shall be set within the first month of the school year and communicated to allocate supervision duties fairly all Teachers. Regularly scheduled staff meetings may include administrative/organizational issues, professional development, training and equitablyother matters aligned with school and board goals. Teachers are expected to attend regularly scheduled staff meetings. Teachers may submit agenda items to the Principal for consideration.
(b) The Principal will consult with the teaching staff as to the desired date and time of staff meetings.
(c) Teaching staff may request items to be included in the agenda of such meetings.

(d) The Board shall make every reasonable effort to allocate ensure that no teacher is required to perform in excess of 100 minutes of supervision duties fairly and equitablytime in a five day instructional week. In the event that there are fewer than five instructional days in a week, the amount of required supervision time shall be adjusted accordingly.
(iii) Effective July 1, 2006, the Board shall ensure that no teacher is required to perform in excess of 100 minutes of supervision time in a five day instructional week. In addition, the Board shall make every reasonable effort to reduce the amount of supervision time each teacher is required to perform to a maximum of 80 minutes in a five day instructional week. In the event there are fewer than five instructional days in a week, the amount of required supervision time shall be adjusted accordingly.
