Supervisor Premium Sample Clauses

The Supervisor Premium clause establishes an additional payment or fee that is provided to a supervisor, typically in recognition of their extra responsibilities or oversight duties. This premium may be calculated as a fixed amount or a percentage of the supervisor's base pay, and it is usually applied when an employee is formally assigned supervisory tasks over others. The core function of this clause is to compensate supervisors for their increased workload and accountability, thereby incentivizing effective management and ensuring fair remuneration for higher-level duties.
Supervisor Premium. On sites where an employee is assigned the responsibility of directing a crew of six (6) or more QCCC employees and keeping records of their hours of work (i.e., a “Supervisor”), they shall be paid a premium of three dollars ($3.00) per hour worked. Project duration is required to be four (4) days or more for the premium to apply and the premium is not to be calculated in overtime rates. (a) Supervisors are to be appointed by management. (b) If six (6) or more QCCC Employees are working on a site, the employer will appoint a minimum of one (1) Supervisor from among their employees on the project. (c) Level 2 Technicians" are responsible for technical performance on a project in the same manner as previously without being appointed as supervisors. The responsibility to interpret film for other technicians on a site does not necessarily mean that a supervisor's rate applies.
Supervisor Premium. Any employee who fills the position of supervisor would be paid a premium of fifty (0.50) cents per hour for all hours designated by management to perform the job function of Supervisor. The fifty (0.50) cents per hour premium shall be added to eligible employee’s rate of pay for all intents and purposes included but not limited to overtime, vacation pay, general holiday pay etc.

Supervisor Premium. Employees who are routinely and consistently assigned in writing by their immediate supervisor to supervise or lead a shift in the absence of a supervisor or lead receive Supervisor Premium in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of their base hourly rate of pay for those hours worked as a supervisor or lead.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.

  • Shift Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95c/ ) per hour for each hour worked between 1500 hours and 0700 hours provided that such hours exceed two (2) hours if worked in conjunction with the day shift.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Overtime Premium a) Time and one-half (1/2) shall be paid as follows: 1) For all hours worked over 8 (eight) hours per day. 2) For all hours worked over 40 (forty) hours per week. 3) For all hours worked on Sunday, unless part of the employees regularly scheduled workweek. b) Double time plus holiday pay shall be paid for all hours worked on holidays that are defined in this Agreement.

  • Shift Premiums An employee working on shifts will receive a shift premium of one dollar twenty five cents ($1.25) effective 1st January 2010, per hour for all hours worked including overtime hours, between 4:00pm and 8:00am. The shift premium will not be paid for hours worked between 8:00am and 4:00pm.
