Supervisory Action. When, in the course of a supervisor's duties, such supervisor witnesses an act for which it would be reasonable to believe that discipline or criminal charges may result and, if physical evidence is present and the collection of that physical evidence is necessary to substantiate such charges, the supervisor may immediately collect that physical evidence. Prior to any questioning concerning an act as addressed in this Section, which was witnessed by a supervisor, the member shall be informed of the member's rights under this Article.
