Supplementary Arbitrators Clause Samples
The Supplementary Arbitrators clause establishes the procedure for appointing additional arbitrators if the original panel is unable to proceed, such as due to conflict of interest, illness, or resignation. Typically, this clause outlines how new arbitrators are selected, who is responsible for their appointment, and whether the arbitration process will restart or continue from the current stage. Its core function is to ensure the continuity and integrity of the arbitration process by providing a clear mechanism to address unexpected vacancies or incapacity among arbitrators.
