Common use of SUPPLIER'S APPOINTMENT Clause in Contracts

SUPPLIER'S APPOINTMENT. The Authority hereby appoints the Supplier as a provider of the Panel Services and the Supplier shall be eligible to be considered for the award of Legal Services Contracts by the Authority and Panel Customers during the Panel Period. In consideration of the Supplier agreeing to enter into this Panel Agreement and to perform its obligations under it the Authority agrees to pay and the Supplier agrees to accept on the signing of this Panel Agreement the sum of one pound (£1.00) sterling (receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by the Supplier). Where the Supplier is more than one firm or organisation acting as a Group of Economic Operators, each firm or organisation that is a member of the Group of Economic Operators shall be jointly and severally liable for performance of the Supplier’s obligations under this Panel Agreement. Each firm or organisation that is a member of the Group of Economic Operators shall provide their respective services at the same high quality as the rest of the group or the lead operator. Each firm or organisation shall ensure they are fully conversant with the Statement of Requirements and the respective project set out in any Legal Services Contract. The Group of Economic Operators shall at all times work in a unified and cohesive manner to provide the Ordered Panel Services to the Panel Customers under any Legal Services Contract.
