Support Covered Entity in Fulfilling its Obligations. If the Business Associate maintains a Designated Record Set (as defined in 45 C.F.R. 164.501), Business Associate will support Covered Entity in a manner that enables Covered Entity to meet its obligations under 45 C.F.R. Sections 164.524, 164.526, and 164.528. To the extent that Business Associate is asked to carry out Covered Entity’s obligations under these sections, Business Associate will comply with the requirements that apply to Covered Entity in the performance of such obligations.
