3.1 In the case of UK students only either
3.1.1 on or before the first Payment Date to pay the Rent in full for the entire Period of Residence by bank transfer, online payment, cheque drawn in pounds sterling on a UK bank account or credit/debit card; or
3.1.2 to pay the instalments of Rent to the University by direct debit on the Payment Dates, in which case the Student must supply his/her bank details to the University not more than 10 days before the first Payment Date.
3.2 in the case of non-UK students only either
3.2.1 on or before the first Payment Date to pay the Rent in full for the entire Period of Residence by bank transfer, online payment, cheque drawn in pounds sterling on a UK bank account or credit/debit card; or
3.2.2 on or before the first Payment Date to pay the first instalment of Rent to the University by the payment methods stated under the “fee payment” section of the University’s on-line booking system
3.3 To pay Council Tax for the Accommodation if at any time during the Period of Residence the Student is not exempt from paying Council Tax and to reimburse the University for any Council Tax it has to pay for the Residence as a result of the Student failing to maintain his/her exemption.
3.4 To check the Accommodation, Contents and the Common Parts within the Flat and report any discrepancy to the Managing Agent within 48 hours of taking occupation. If the Student does not report any damage, or missing items, at the start of occupancy the Student is deemed to have accepted the Accommodation and may not be able to rely on the inventory at a later date to prove that the damage was not the Student’s fault.
3.5 To keep the Accommodation, the Accommodation Contents and (jointly with other students) the Flat Contents, the Residence Contents and the Common Parts in a clean and tidy condition and not to damage them. The University may give the Student and/or (as appropriate) other students in the Flat written warning if in its reasonable opinion the Accommodation or the Common Parts of the Residence are not being kept to a reasonably acceptable standard and requiring them to be put in the appropriate standard. If there is no improvement on the date of the follow-up visit specified in the notice, the Student shall pay a fair proportion to be determined by the University (according to the number of people entitled to share) of:

Student’s Obligations. The Student agrees as follows
1.1 To pay the Residence Charge to the University (or to whom it may direct) in advance on or before the Payment Dates without deduction
1.2 To pay the Deposit to the University if it has not been paid prior to the date of this contract
1.3 To pay the late fee charge(s) set out in the University’s Fees Regulations (xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xx.xx/newstudents/money/paymentdeadlinesandlatefees/) for any payment which is not made by the dates specified in those regulations
1.4 To keep the Accommodation and its Contents and (jointly with other students) the Common Parts and their Contents in a clean and tidy condition and not to damage them and not to make dirty or untidy or damage any other part of the Residence. Responsibility for cleaning is set out in the Booklet. The University or Third Party Provider may give the Student written warning if the Accommodation and/or the Common Parts and/or the Contents need to be cleaner or tidier. If there is no improvement on the date of the follow-up visit specified in the warning the University or Third Party Provider shall be entitled to hire cleaners to do the work and recover the properly and reasonably incurred costs of doing so from the Student in the case of the Accommodation and its Contents and from all occupiers allowed to use them in the case of the relevant Common Parts and their Contents
1.5 To leave the Accommodation and the flat in which it is situated (in a clean and tidy condition and cleared of all the Student’s belongings) and return all keys and access cards at the end of each Period of Residence or earlier termination of this Contract
1.6 To allow the University or Third Party Provider at reasonable times after giving at least 24 hours' notice to enter the Accommodation for the purpose of viewing, inspection, cleaning or repair (no notice being necessary in an emergency, for repairs reported by the Student or for routine cleaning on designated days). Without limitation to the foregoing to allow the University or Third Party Provider to enter the Accommodation pursuant to Clauses 2.3 and 4.
Student’s Obligations. 1.1 To pay the Rent to the College in advance on or before the Payment Dates.
1.2 To check the Accommodation and Accommodation Contents and report any problems to the College’s Accommodation Manager within 7 working days of the start of the Tenancy Period.
1.3 To keep the Accommodation, the Accommodation Contents and (jointly with other students) the College Contents and the Common Parts in a clean and tidy condition and not to damage them.
1.4 At the end of the Tenancy Period to leave the Accommodation (in a clean and tidy condition and clear of all rubbish and personal belongings) and to return to the Lodge the keys/entry cards to the Accommodation.
1.5 To allow the College, at reasonable times and after giving reasonable notice, to enter the Accommodation for the purpose of viewing, inspection, maintenance or repair. No notice will be given in an emergency or where the need for repair (or any other matter affecting the suitability of the Accommodation for habitation) was reported by the Student, but otherwise the College will aim to give reasonable prior notice for planned maintenance work and 24 hours prior notice for other purposes.
1.6 To allow members of the Housekeeping staff to enter the Accommodation on a regular (at least weekly during full term) basis for the purpose of routine cleaning, wherever possible at a time previously arranged between the Student and Housekeeping though some flexibility is required in this.
1.7 Students must maintain a reasonably safe environment for College employees who have to enter the Accommodation e.g. ensuring cables to personal electronic equipment are safe.
1.8 To comply with all applicable legislation to avoid the Student’s actions or negligence having an adverse effect on the College or the University of Oxford or on the owners or occupiers of nearby property.
1.9 To comply with the University of Oxford’s Regulations and with the Student Administrative Handbook.
1.10 To report to the College (via the Lodge or other ways determined by the College) any damage or want of repair at the College or failure of the Services as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within 24 hours of becoming aware of it.
1.11 Without prejudice to any other remedy available to the whole or part of the Rent has not been paid within 14 days of any Payment Date, to pay to the College interest on the amount outstanding at the rate of 3% per annum above the base rate of the Bank of England from time to time in force from the date...
Student’s Obligations. The Student agrees to observe and perform all rules and regulations issued by the College or the University of Cambridge from time to time, and to comply with any premises licence operated by the College.
6.1 The Student agrees to observe and perform the Student's Obligations and any failure to do so will result in breach of this Tenancy Agreement. The Student’s Obligations are as set out below:

3.1 To pay the Licence Fee to the University in the specified instalments in advance on or beforethe Payment Date(s).
3.2 To check the Room and report any damage within 7 days of taking up occupation. The reporting procedure is set out in the Accommodation Handbook.
3.3 To keep the Room and the Room Contents clean and tidy and not to damage them.
3.4 To keep the Common Parts and the Residence Contents, jointly with other students in the Residence, clean and tidy and not to damage them.
3.5 To report any loss, damage or want of repair at the Accommodation or any failure of the Services as soon as reasonably practicable and in any event within 24 hours of becoming aware of it. The reporting procedure is set out in the Accommodation Handbook.
3.6 To report to the University promptly any fire or accident resulting in injury or resulting in damage to any part of the Accommodation or to the Contents.
3.7 To notify the Accommodation Office (in advance, where practicable) if the Room is likely to be unoccupied for 7 days or more during the term times officially published by the University in its student handbook.
3.8 To report to the University’s security officers promptly any suspicious circumstances likely to affect the security of any part of the Accommodation.
3.9 To report to the security officers as soon as reasonably practicable (and in any event within 24 hours) any damage to the Accommodation caused by an intruder. Nothing in this clause requires the Student to put their personal safety at risk.
3.10 To leave the Accommodation in a clean and tidy condition and clear of all rubbish and personal belongings and otherwise in the state required by this Agreement at the end of the Licence Period.
3.11 To return to the University the keys/passes/fobs for the Accommodation at the end of the Licence Period.
3.12 Not to interfere with the University’s management of the Accommodation. Accordingly, the University reserves the right to permit authorised personnel to enter the Room or any other part of the Residence at reasonable times for the purpose of viewing, inspection, maintenance, repair or any other reasonable purpose. The University will use reasonable endeavours to give at least 24 hours advance notice wherever practicable. No notice will be given in an emergency, when attending to a health and safety matters or where access is required only to the Common Parts.

Student’s Obligations. Students are required to comply with the obligations established in this Agreement and the documents it refers to. The hosting Partner Universities may require compliance with additional regulations, which are equally binding as long as they are communicated timely to the student.
Student’s Obligations. Student agrees to:
1. Participate fully in the academic program by attending classes, remaining at the host institution for the full academic term, carrying at least the designated course load, and completing all examinations; or participate fully in the approved internship or not-for-credit activity;
2. Independently arrange and pay for a comprehensive health and accident insurance plan if the program does not provide an insurance plan;
3. Assume full legal and financial responsibility for the program abroad, including but not limited to all program charges as stated in the Fee Schedules for the IU program abroad and all costs associated with illnesses or injuries sustained or experienced during, or related to participation in, the program abroad, including, but not limited to, any costs arising out of, or as a result of, the COVID-19 pandemic (e.g., due to travel restrictions or program cancellation), that are not covered by insurance;
4. Reimburse IU for all unrecoverable costs made on Student’s behalf if Student withdraws from the program at any time;
5. Grant IU, its employees, agents and consortium partners full authority to act in an attempt to safeguard and preserve Student’s health and safety during Student’s participation in the program abroad, including authorizing routine or emergency medical treatment on Student’s behalf and at Student’s expense and returning Student to the United States at Student’s expense;
6. Respect and abide by the laws and customs of the host country, the IU Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct (including any relevant pandemic-related Student Commitment Form), any rules and regulations for student conduct made or adopted pursuant to Paragraph A.5. above, all applicable public health and safety measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and all other reasonable standards of conduct related to Student’s education abroad program promoted by IU, its employees, agents, consortium partners, and partner institutions abroad;
7. Accept termination of participation in the program abroad with no refund of fees and take responsibility for transportation costs home if Student’s conduct is determined to be detrimental to the best interests of the student, the program or IU, such a decision to be at the sole discretion of the IU program coordinator and/or the partner institution, with the concurrence of the Director of Overseas Study and/or other appropriate campus representative or departmental representative. Student’s Obligations. The Student undertakes to actively take part in the activities promoted by the University, participating in all training activities related to the degree course, in compliance with the current laws or laws enacted as a result of emergency situations (e.g. Covid-19), including those required to fill any educational debts following the admission test (Additional Educational Requirements, i.e. OFA, regulated by the Didactic Regulations of each Degree Course, and by the University Regulations) and the clinical practice provided for each course at the facilities indicated by the University. The Student undertakes to fully respect the provisions of the Code of Ethics, the University Didactic Regulation, the Student’s Regulation, the Tuition and Fees Regulation and of the other Regulations and Programme Regulations for the achievement of the Student’s educational and professional objectives in the context of the Study Plan chosen, the contents of which he or she declares to be fully aware of. The Student recognizes and accepts that - if s/he gives the consent in the attached privacy policy - her/his name and picture will be published in the graduate yearbook of the University.
