Support for Legislative Change. The parties agree that they will jointly support a modification to the California Government Code that will allow modifications to the PERS Health Care law governing the vesting of health care benefits to retirees and other provisions. The modifications to be submitted to the legislature will be developed and agreed to by the parties and, perhaps representatives of other units prior to final drafting.
