Support Other Than Salary. A recipient of a sabbatical leave may be permitted to receive additional financial assistance or salary from sources other than the University, provided the specific arrangements have received advance approval from the Board. Salaried work for another employer must also be approved in advance. A Faculty member may not earn or accrue vacation or sick leave time during the period of the sabbatical leave.
