Surgical assistance. Payment not to exceed 20% of the Maximum Benefit Amount for surgery will be made for surgical assistance by a Physician or certified physician assistant who actively assists the operating Physician. Surgical procedures for which benefits for a surgical assistant are provided are those specifically identified by us. Such information may be obtained from us prior to surgery.
Surgical assistance. Benefits are payable in connection with certain surgeries for surgical assistance by a Physician or other person who actively assists the operating Physician, as listed in the Overview of this Part. The amount payable shall not exceed the applicable Allowable Charge and may include a reduction for surgical assistance. Benefits for a surgical assistant are provided for those surgical procedures specifically identified by Us. Such information may be obtained prior to surgery.

  • Technical Assistance The State agrees to provide technical assistance regarding the State’s rules, regulations and policies to the Sub- Recipient and to assist in the correction of problem areas identified by the State’s monitoring activities.

  • Educational Assistance To qualify for reimbursement, an employee must be a regular employee upon enrollment. To be approved, the courses described below must be related to the employee's present position or career development:
