Common use of Surrender of Property Clause in Contracts

Surrender of Property. In the event of a valid forfeiture, cancellation, or other termination of this lease, Lessee shall surrender to Lessor peaceable possession of the Leased Premises and at the written request of Lessor shall deliver to the Lessor a written relinquishment hereof, together with a copy, if requested by Lessor within thirty (30) days after termination of this lease, of its engineering progress maps showing any workings made or uncovered by Lessee on the Leased Premises. The Lessee's factual exploration, development and production data including drill core and assay results (but excluding interpretive information or data) from the Leased Premises shall be available upon request to the Lessor.
