Common use of Suspension of the Plan Clause in Contracts

Suspension of the Plan. (a) in the case of any absence of less than one year, the employee shall have the option to: (i) continue to participate in the sabbatical leave plan by paying the necessary amounts to Sun Life Trust; (ii) suspend their participation in the plan for a period equivalent to that of the absence. Subject to 2 (d), the employee must have completed the accumulation period initially selected before being able to go on leave.
