Termination of Seniority An employee's seniority shall terminate: A. If the employee resigns B. If the employee retires C. If the employee is discharged D. If the employee is laid off for a period of more than twenty-four (24) consecutive months E. If the employee who has completed his/her probationary period fails to report to work as scheduled after any authorized absence or layoff, he may be terminated effective on the 4th calendar day following the scheduled return to work date

To promote a non-discriminatory work environment based on the principle of equality, employers and the trade union should adopt appropriate measures to ensure that employees with HIV and AIDS are not unfairly discriminated against and are protected from victimisation through positive measures such as: (i) preventing unfair discrimination and stigmatisation of people living with HIV or AIDS through the development of HIV/AIDS policies and programmes for the workplace; (ii) awareness, education and training on the rights of all persons with regard to HIV and AIDS; (iii) mechanisms to promote acceptance and openness around HIV/AIDS in the workplace; (iv) providing support for all employees infected or affected by HIV and AIDS; and (v) grievance procedures and disciplinary measures to deal with HIV-related complaints in the workplace. 7. Suspension or Termination of Services You agree that Firstrade Securities Inc. reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate your access to any or all of Firstrade Securities Inc.'s Electronic Services for any reason and without prior notice to you. You agree not to hold Firstrade Securities Inc. responsible or liable for any disruptions in service due to: telephone network, computer network or other system problems beyond the control of Firstrade Securities Inc.: system maintenance or system upgrades; or any other event or circumstance beyond the control of Firstrade Securities Inc.
SUSPENSION & TERMINATION FOR DEFAULT Enterprise Services may suspend Contractor’s operations under this Master Contract immediately by written cure notice of any default. Suspension shall continue until the default is remedied to Enterprise Services’ reasonable satisfaction; Provided, however, that, if after thirty (30) days from such a suspension notice, Contractor remains in default, Enterprise Services may terminate Contractor’s rights under this Master Contract. All of Contractor’s obligations to Enterprise Services and Purchasers survive termination of Contractor’s rights under this Master Contract, until such obligations have been fulfilled.
Determination of Seniority Seniority records shall be maintained by the University and shall be based on the employee's seniority date. The University shall maintain current records on seniority for use in the application of these provisions and they shall be available whenever a Union representative shall raise a question of seniority. Such lists and records shall also show the job title and latest employment date with the University for each person, and a copy of the list shall be furnished to the Union every six (6) months, upon request.
