Suspensions for Cause. TxDOT has the authority to suspend, wholly or in part, the Maintenance Services for cause by written order for Maintenance Contractor’s failure to: (a) Correct conditions unsafe for the Project personnel or the general public; (b) Comply with any Governmental Approval, Law, including Environmental Laws, or otherwise carry out the requirements of the COMA Documents; (c) Carry out orders of TxDOT; or (d) Comply with requirements for developing and implementing the Maintenance Services QCP. Maintenance Contractor shall promptly comply with any such written suspension order. Maintenance Contractor shall promptly recommence the Maintenance Services upon receipt of written notice from TxDOT directing Maintenance Contractor to resume work. TxDOT shall have no liability to Maintenance Contractor in connection with any such suspension.
