Taking Vacation Time. (a) For vacation purposes only, the calendar year shall run from April 1st through March 31st. Vacation requests submitted by February 1st shall be responded to in writing by March 1st, with requests submitted for full calendar week(s) given priority over requests submitted for single days in the same calendar week. Once a vacation request has been approved in writing, it may only be rescinded by mutual agreement of the parties. Seniority shall be the controlling factor in determining vacation requests submitted by February 1st. For submission after February 1st, vacation selections shall be granted on a first come first serve basis. (b) In no event shall an employee take more than twenty-five (25) days accrued vacation time in anyone calendar year without first having obtained the approval of the Office of the Chief Court Administrator.

Taking Vacation Time. (a) An employee shall be allowed, subject to the approval of his Execu- tive Director, to choose the time of his/her vacation. In the event of conflicting schedules of leave, length of service in the Branch shall prevail, provided the more senior employee has chosen the time of his/her vacation at least 60 days prior to the commencement date of the vacation. Seniority for purposes of this paragraph shall be defined as current, continuous service as a full-time employee in the Connecticut Judicial Branch. (b) In no event shall an employee take more than the hourly equivalent of twenty-five (25) working days accrued vacation time in any one calendar year without first having obtained the approval of the Office of the Chief Court Administrator.

In extraordinary circumstances, the Employer may request the Labor-Management Committee to make an exception to seniority being the controlling factor. (b) In no event shall an employee take more than twenty-five (25) days accrned vacation time in any one calendar year without firnt having obtained the approval of the Office of the Chief Comt Administrator.

  • Vacation Time After the Trial Period is complete, the Employee is entitled to days off per year of which is required to be mutually benefiting of the Employer and the Employee. It is required for the Employee to give notice before scheduling their vacation in accordance with Company policy.

  • Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation.   • Vacation and Paid Time Off The Executive shall be entitled to vacation and paid time off in accordance with the standard policies of the Company for executives as in effect from time to time.

  • Vacation Buy Back Employees shall have the option of requesting pay in lieu of time off up to a maximum of 144 hours of vacation time each year, during each year of the contract in increments of eight (8) hrs. Such requests are subject to the approval of the department head and the availability of funds.

  • Vacation; Paid Time Off During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to paid vacation in accordance with the Company’s vacation policies, as in effect from time to time. The Executive shall receive other paid time-off in accordance with applicable law and the Company’s policies for executive officers as such policies may exist from time to time.

  • Recall from Vacation Leave When during any period of vacation leave an employee is recalled to duty, he shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, as normally defined by the Employer, that he incurs:

  • Valuation Time At the close of trading of the regular trading session on the Exchange; provided that if the principal trading session is extended, the Calculation Agent shall determine the Valuation Time in its reasonable discretion.
