TDD/TTY Equipment. New TDD/TTY equipment shall be provided for inmate use at road prisons and work release centers (community correction centers). All TDD/TTY equipment will be protected and secured by the Department when not in use. Minimum requirements for TDD/TTY equipment shall include: a. Portability, such that it can be used with any ITS station set at the Department institution. b. The ability for keyboard entry. c. A display (i.e., LCD, LED, etc.) and a printer device.
