Common use of Tea Breaks Clause in Contracts

Tea Breaks. (a) Two separate 10 minute intervals (in addition to meal breaks) will be allowed to each employee on duty during each ordinary shift of 7.6 hours or more. (b) Where less than 7.6 ordinary hours are worked, employees will be allowed one 10 minute interval in each four hour period. (c) Subject to mutual agreement, such intervals may alternatively be taken as one 20 minute interval. (d) Xxx breaks will count as time worked.
