TEACHER FACILITIES. A. The Board shall provide for each actively employed teacher:
1. A serviceable desk, chair and computer.
2. Access to a dining table.
3. A lockable desk, file cabinet or closet in which teachers may store instructional materials and supplies.
4. An appropriately furnished room to be reserved for the exclusive use of staff as a faculty lounge. Said room will be regularly cleaned by the custodial staff and will be in addition to the other teacher work areas. However, staff will be expected to keep the lounge reasonably neat and orderly.
5. Access to well-lighted and clean employee restrooms, separate from the students' restrooms with appropriate supplies.
6. Storage facilities for special instructional personnel.
7. In accordance with applicable food and nutrition guidelines, the principal, at request by a majority of the teachers, may arrange for the installation of a maximum of two faculty vending machines in each faculty lounge. All proceeds from the machines shall be used in such manner as the majority of teachers and educational support employees of that building shall determine. Cost, if any, of installation shall be borne by the teachers and educational support employees of each school.
B. Where feasible in existing buildings, and in all new buildings, the following will be provided.
1. A teacher work area containing adequate equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials.
2. A communication system so that teachers can communicate with the main office from their classrooms, provided that such system is used only for emergency announcements during class periods.
3. Space for teachers' dining in a faculty lounge or other room unavailable to students with tables and chairs sufficient to accommodate teachers during their lunch period.
C. Teachers shall report in writing to the principal any condition considered unsafe or hazardous. The principal shall take action(s) as appropriate and shall notify the teacher in writing of such action(s) taken within five (5) days.
D. A telephone will be made available for teachers to use for school business. Teachers and principals shall arrange this use to provide reasonable privacy during the call. During the workday, teachers may make personal phone calls only if the calls cannot be made at any other time.
E. Teachers who need access to a telephone for school business after the workday ends shall arrange this access with the principal. Teachers with supervisory responsibilities will also ...
TEACHER FACILITIES. Each school will have the following facilities:

TEACHER FACILITIES. 11-1 The parties agree that the availability of functional school facilities for both students and teachers is necessary to ensure the high quality of education which is the goal of both teachers and school trustees. All future school facilities shall be designed to meet the needs of the educational program.
11-2 Within available resources, special consideration shall be given to providing space in which teachers may safely store instructional materials and supplies, and a locked space in which teachers may safely store personal belongings. Each teacher is obligated to maintain such storage areas in a neat and orderly manner. Unless the teacher refuses or fails to remove excessive or non-instructional material upon the reasonable request of the principal, no material of a teacher shall be destroyed or disposed of without the prior informed consent of the teacher.
11-2-1 Special consideration shall also be given for the provision of a teacher work area. The teacher work area shall contain adequate equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials and an appropriately furnished room to be used as a faculty lounge. In all future facilities or in the renovation of existing facilities, the faculty lounge shall be well lighted, well ventilated, clean and conveniently located.
00-0-0 Xxx Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxx recognizes that adequate work space and equipment are necessary for specialists who render services on an itinerant basis at an educational site. The School District will not unreasonably withhold access to such work space or equipment where available. The site administrator shall make every effort to provide such space and equipment to itinerant personnel. The parties agree that this does not require the School District to purchase and install portables or other non-permanent fixtures.
TEACHER FACILITIES. The District shall make provision in each school, at which certificated employees are assigned, for adequate storage and equipment and a system so that employees have access to their teaching assignment area and work area.
TEACHER FACILITIES. 6.13.1 The District shall provide the minimum teacher facilities listed below:
6.13.1.1 Space in each classroom where each teacher may store materials and supplies, whenever possible.
6.13.1.2 A desk, chair and lockable cabinet will be provided for each teacher, whenever possible.
6.13.1.3 Clean, well ventilated, and well lighted teacher restroom.
6.13.1.4 At least one telephone shall be made available in each school with teachers to have priority in its usage, with the understanding that such telephone(s) shall be used primarily for school-related business. The phones provided shall, whenever possible, be in a quiet and private space.
6.13.1.5 A furnished room to be used as a faculty lounge.
6.13.1.6 An effort will be made to provide adequate heating, lighting, and ventilation in all portions of the school.
6.13.1.7 A workroom for teachers containing equipment and supplies sufficient to aid in the preparation of instructional materials, whenever possible.
6.13.1.8 Parking areas and sidewalks will be provided at each school except in emergency situations. The District will make an attempt to keep these areas clear of snow and ice during school hours.
TEACHER FACILITIES. 8.1 Each school will be provided with well-ventilated, clean, adequate, separate rest rooms for men and women teachers.
8.2 There shall be a furnished room in each school to be used as a faculty lounge.
8.3 Each school shall have telephone service available to teachers that provides privacy of conversation.
8.4 Space in the parking lot at each school will be reserved for the parking of teachers' cars.

10-1 A pay telephone booth or a comparable facility for faculty use shall be provided in each school. Every effort shall be made to insure privacy.
10-2 Washrooms for men and women teachers, which are private, clean and comfortable, shall be provided in all schools.
10-3 A professional library collection for reference and circulation shall be provided in each school.
10-4 An automated telephone and web-based absence reporting system shall be provided which will allow teachers to report their absence at any time up to 6:00 a.m. before the workday begins.
10-5 Each school shall be provided with a clean and comfortable teachers’ lounge. Existing lounges in excess of one per school shall remain as presently established.
10-6 Audio-visual equipment and copying equipment shall be available for teachers’ use in every building.
10-7 All classrooms shall have electrical outlets consistent with federal and state OSHA regulations.
10-8 To the extent possible, teachers shall be provided with off-street parking areas for their automobiles.
10-9 Teachers shall be provided a special lunch area, and when this area is not a regular lunchroom, facilities for warming, refrigerating, and storing food shall be provided.
10-10 Stairs, sidewalks and parking areas shall be free of snow prior to the opening of work to the extent necessary to permit safe access to buildings.
TEACHER FACILITIES. Each school shall have the following facilities insofar as the same is physically and economically feasible:
10.1. A teacher work area containing adequate equipment and supplies to aid in the preparation of instructional materials.
10.2. An appropriately furnished room to be reserved for the exclusive use of teachers for a faculty lounge and dining facility.
10.3. A serviceable desk and chair for the teacher in each classroom.
10.4. An individual mailbox for each teacher.
TEACHER FACILITIES. The Board and the Association agree that each school shall have the following facilities whenever possible.
A. Adequate, convenient parking at each school.
B. An appropriately furnished room to be used as a faculty lounge.
C. Private telephones available to the teachers for the purpose of making student related calls.
