Teacher Judgment and Board Support. The board shall support the judgment of the teacher in applying such disciplinary practices as the teacher deems appropriate in order to maintain order and to protect the legal rights and safety of teachers and students if the actions of teachers do not violate board policies. The board shall support reasonable and professional disciplinary practices which protect the legal rights and the safety of teachers and students. Procedures for discipline in the schools shall be developed in accordance to State Law and board policy by the administration and the association.
