TEACHER SALARIES. A. The salaries of all teachers covered by this Agreement are set forth in Schedules A-1 and B which are attached hereto and made a part of hereof, and which Schedules supersede Schedules previously attached to said contract. B. 1. Teachers shall be paid in twenty (20) semi-monthly installments.
TEACHER SALARIES. 37-1 The salaries of all persons covered by this Agreement are set forth in the Appendices to this Agreement which are attached hereto and made a part thereof. Once the provisional/initial license has been obtained, horizontal movement on the salary schedule is allowed. If a teacher has a MA prior to professional license, then the teacher may move to the appropriate step of the MA column after provisional/initial license is obtained, accompanied by official transcripts. 37-3-5 Graduate credit acquired prior to initial teaching license may not be used for salary placement. Once a teacher has the provisional/initial teaching license the teacher may begin the process of obtaining graduate credit for horizontal movement on the salary schedule.

TEACHER SALARIES. The salary for a Full-Time Teacher will be determined in accordance with the provisions in Schedule A, and will be not less than prescribed by the following table from the first pay period commencing on or after 1 January of each year. Should enrolment levels be maintained as defined in clause 12.1 a cumulative increment of 0.167% annually from 2015 onwards will be applied in addition to the salary increases prescribed below.
TEACHER SALARIES. 1. For initial placement of new teachers, administration will maintain the New Teacher Initial Salary Placement Grid to determine first year salaries. This grid is found in Appendix F of this Agreement. When possible and applicable, the District will award new teachers up to ten (10) years of PEL teaching experience (i.e., with a Professional Educator License). However, if warranted, the District may award additional years of PEL teaching experience for new teachers in hard-to-fill positions, in accordance with Section 17.1. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no newly-hired teacher will receive a salary that is higher than a returning teacher who has (1) PEL teaching experience in the District that is equivalent to the PEL teaching experience credit awarded to the newly-hired teacher and (2) the same degree/credit hours as the newly-hired teacher (i.e., BA, BA+15, MA, MA+15, MA+30, or MA+45) – and, in order to comply with this provision, the District may elect to reduce the newly-hired teacher’s salary or raise the returning teacher’s salary. Salary increases for returning teachers will be as follows: For the 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025 school years only: The following additional salary increases will be given to returning teachers who have completed five (5) or more years of service in District 151 as of the first day of the 2022-2023 school term (“Eligible Teachers”): In addition, the District will pay a one-time stipend to each returning teacher who has been continuously employed by the District since August 2020, as follows: Teacher’s Years of Experience in District as of August 2022 ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ The stipend will not become part of the teacher’s base salary and will not otherwise be included in base salary for purposes of education salary enhancements, future salary increases, or any other purpose. The stipend will be paid in two installments, with the first installment paid in December 2022 and the second installment paid in July 2023.
