Common use of Teacher Workload Clause in Contracts

Teacher Workload. 27.1 Every teacher shall have a lunch break of at least thirty (30) minutes per day between the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 27.2 Teachers required to travel for the purposes of their assigned duties shall have a lunch break of at least thirty (30) minutes per day between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. separate and apart from the required travel time and preparation time as cited in the Teachers’ Provincial Agreement - Article 59 Appendix F. 27.3 The essential health and welfare needs of teachers shall be accommodated within their workload. 27.4 The Board and the Union agree that issues of workload may properly be referred to the Management-Teacher Committee for consideration and recommendation.
