Inmates There may be times when inmates may be working adjacent to or in the same area as Contractor or Contractor Parties. All Persons are prohibited from accepting or giving anything from and to an inmate. Inmates are accountable to DOC personnel only, no other Person will have any conversation or dealings with inmates without the approval of the DOC supervisory official in charge.
Roommates The Resident may be notified prior to move-in the name and contact information of their roommate (and vice-versa). This disclosure is to enable the roommates to get acquainted and to arrange bringing common supplies to the Residence. Roommate changes may be requested for cause at any time. The Manager’s first priority is to try to mediate any dispute between roommates. If a roommate change is required roommates may be moved to different Rooms (subject to availability within the Residence and to the Manager discretion), unless another Agreement can be reached amongst all parties involved.
Rehires An employee returning to service with the County after a break in service into a classification in which he / she has previously passed probation shall serve a new 6-month probationary period from the date of re-hire.
Dependent Care Salary Reduction Plan The Employer agrees to maintain the current dependent care salary reduction plan that allows eligible employees, covered by this Agreement, the option to participate in a dependent care reimbursement program for work-related dependent care expenses on a pretax basis as permitted by federal tax law or regulation.
Payslip The private employment agency is obliged to provide the temporary agency worker with a statement for every financial wage payment and at least on a monthly basis in writing or electronically. On request the temporary agency worker shall receive the payslip in writing. The payslip shall include the following details:

Inactivity If you do not log on for one hundred eighty (180) days or more and have no outstanding scheduled Payments or transfers through eBanking, Mobile Deposit and Bill Payment, we may cancel your Service without further notice.

Scholarly Activity The parties recognize that research and scholarly activity have always been an integral component of faculty work at Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Research and scholarship inform teaching, curriculum and teaching practices, enhance the knowledge of faculty and students, and enable faculty members to remain intellectually stimulated and current in their fields. Scholarly activity is a dynamic process consisting of the following interrelated components: discovery, application, integration, teaching and learning, and creative artistry. Nothing in this provision shall be construed as increasing a faculty member’s assigned workload.
Discontinuation of Service If there are unavoidable reasons (including but not limited to technical reasons), SORACOM may discontinue provision of the SORACOM Air Global Service in whole or part.
