Technology Committee. A District Technology Committee will be established consisting of the Superintendent, the Technology Coordinator, the Director of Special Education, the Curriculum Director, the Media Specialists, a teacher representative from each building to be appointed by the HEA President, and ex-officio members appointed and approved of by the Committee. The Committee will analyze technology issues and make recommendations on training teachers, funding, maintenance of equipment, and effective use of personnel, and the technology policy. The Superintendent will submit the Committee’s recommendations made by consensus to the Huron Board of Education for review. The Committee shall meet once a month or as needed and will be established no later than thirty (30) days after the contract is ratified.
Technology Committee. (A) The Employer and the Union agree that new technologies may radically affect teaching, research, and administrative activities. The parties therefore agree that a Technology Committee should be maintained to monitor emerging technologies and advise on avenues for exploration. The Committee shall be comprised of two (2) members selected by the Employer, two (2) members selected by the Union, and the Director of the Multimedia Centre.
(B) The Employer and the Union further agree that should the Employer wish to consider the importation of Technology Assisted courses at NSCAD University, the Technology Committee shall be charged with examining the issues in detail. Until such time as the Employer and the Union have reached agreement on these issues, no Technology Assisted courses offered by anyone, or any organization other than the Employer, shall be imported by any means for use by NSCAD University.
Technology Committee. The Technology Committee shall work to address equitable and necessary technology upgrades and support throughout the school district's buildings and programs.
Technology Committee. The parties agree there will be an ongoing Technology Committee established through the Collaboration Team that will meet regularly to consider and attempt to improve the use of technology for instructional purposes and at the same time reduce or minimize the workload impact on employees.
Technology Committee. The Xxxxxx County Vocational Teacher’s Association and the Xxxxxx County Board of Education have identified the need for a Technology Committee. The purpose of the committee is to improve communications related to technology and to provide an avenue for staff input into the district’s technology planning process. The Technology Committee will hold responsibility for making recommendations to the administration related to short and long term goals for the district technology plan. The Association President in consultation with the Director of Secondary Education will appoint members from the association. The Superintendent will appoint the members from the administrative team and the support staff. The Association and Administrative team may mutually agree to invite other individuals to participate in committee meetings. The committee will meet as needed.

Technology Committee. 1. There shall be a district technology committee representing the administration and faculty.
2. The committee shall include the superintendent, the technology director, elementary and secondary principals, and six (6) representatives appointed by the Association.
3. The committee shall meet a minimum of four (4) times per year and make regular reports to the Board. The committee shall provide written recommendations to the Board by the May board meeting.
4. All faculty members shall have the right to communicate with the committee concerning technology needs and suggestions.
Technology Committee. The following provision shall be added after Section 3.1(d) of the Agreement:
Technology Committee. The parties shall establish and SMC shall fund a Responsible Mining Practices and Technology Committee (the “Technology Committee”).
Technology Committee. A joint instructional technology committee will be established in the event that there is an anticipated technology adoption or when called by the IBB team.
